I wrote an earlier review of the Wild Berry flavor and gave it 4 stars. I have continued to use the product, but now buy the Tropical Typhoon flavor. This is much better tasting to me. The metallic flavor I noticed in the Wild Berry is not there in the Tropical Typhoon. I am still very pleased with the mix of ingredients including the joint repair compounds (since I am now 67) and I plan to keep using it as long as they keep making it. I take it right after my workout, and it is helping me to see gains in strength and lean size.

It's loaded with protein, joint health and good carbs. The wild berry blast tastes good, it's not exceptional but its definitely not bad. Mixes fairly well. Side to side ingredient comparisons of other post workout products this ones at the forefront. The label on this says 18 servings per 2 scoops and I'm past 18 and have at least 6-10 to go. I feel really confident in aftershocks ingredients resume.

When I could no longer get my old standby post workout drink, I found this and it looked like a good blend of ingredients. I liked the addition of the joint repair compound. At 66, this has become increasingly important to me. It seems to be satisfying my needs for the last few weeks but I must admit I am not very pleased with the Wild Berry Blast flavor. The mix seems thin and tastes slightly metallic. I will try a different flavor next time, but will continue using this regardless. The flavor is not a deal breaker, just not pleasant.

It tastes and smells like cough medicine and doesn't mix very well. It looks to have some good ingredients, but I would like more carbs for a post-workout recovery drink. I prefer Optimum Nutrition's 2:1:1 Recovery - it has great taste, good compliment of ingredients and mixes very well.
